Artificial Home

Cupid has struck me on these neon paths. It’s a cinematic experience; Exotic characters in the stores, boys streaming down streets on skateboards.

For once I am living in a city that is alive, that is screaming for its appreciation. And it’s everywhere.

I swoon for the underground performances by unknown artists, and the ambient drifts of Sunday laughter from a bar below my window.

We have learnt to look up. Look at the top of the buildings, for the pot plants placed on pretty balconies, or the students waving from their living room.

Most importantly we learnt to look up and see what can be a bigger picture. With so much to be inspired from, how do you resist diving into the thick of it.
